Each participant received a “Goodybag” of items sponsored by various organisations in association with Leonard Cheshire Disability. Items included were: Uv Marker Pen, 24-Hour Segment Timer, Useful Contact Numbers and a Quick Checklist. All attending found the session to be of great value and appreciate the time taken by Chris to explain the various elements and safety issues being faced in society. Those attending also received a copy of a publication “Travel Safe” recently published by the Department for Regional Development (DRD). Club coaching continues each Tuesday in Shimna Integrated College from 6.30pm. There will be a fund raising Night at the Races on Friday 7th October at Mourne Golf Club – the first race 8.30pm. The annual general meeting will be held in the Burrendale Hotel on Thursday 20th October at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome. Parents, Athletes and Volunteers are encouraged to attend.]]>
