“But I am especially impressed by the educational provision given to those with special educational needs and who need one-to-one attention.

“There are a number of small things that could be done immediately to improve the pressures on the school and the staff and pupils.

“But the pressing need is for additional classrooms and that is truly the main priority at the moment.

“St Mary’s Primary School is a lovely school that has a clearly committed family focus, and all the children are treated well and as unique individuals. The teachers always have a with a smile and they clearly show a love for each of their pupils.

“For the school to progress, develop and to deliver even more academic achievement, vocational and personal development, it is important that the Education Department and the Minister collectively build upon the educational delivery that St. Mary’s has provided for all children.

“But especially for those with special educational needs. Wil just a little a bit more help and assistance even more pupils can be helped to be more fulfilled,” said Jim Shannon.
