SDLP Branch Calls For Upgrade To Dundrum Play Area

“There are some areas in Down District none more so than Dundrum village that are in urgent need of a proper play park facilities to provide for the growing youth population.” “The present play park in Dundrum is in serious need of major refurbishment and at present is not fit for purpose. I would strongly urge the working party to give Dundrum major priority to the provision of a modern day standard play park with proper peremiter fencing and lighting. “Dundrum village deserves a proper outdoor park park and I been lobbying Down District Council for some time on this matter. “I have now made written representations to Down District Council to prioritise Dundrum in any future play park schemes and I have also asked South Down  MP Margaret Ritchie to also make representations,” he added.]]>
