Police Say Newry Pride Parade Could Disrupt Traffic Flow

Police Caution Over Saturday’s Newry Pride Parade Which May Cause Traffic Disruption

There will be some traffic disruption in Newry this Saturday afternoon, 31st August as Newry Pride parade takes place.

Assembly for the parade is at the Albert Basin, departing at 1pm.

The route is along Buttercrane Quay, Merchant’s Quay, Needham Bridge and Hill Street for approximately 2pm. Officers will be on the ground to accommodate the flow of traffic.

Police urge the public and road users to plan any journeys in advance and, if travelling to the event, park legally and do not obstruct access to any residential or business properties.
