Police Appeal After Dundrum Shop Burgled

Police are investigating a burglary at a shop on Main Street in Dundrum early this morning, Monday 5 January.

police_101It is believed three men were involved in the break-in shortly after 5am. Two entered the shop and removed a quantity of cigarettes from the cabinet along with a small sum of cash from the tills.

All three are then believed to have made off in a large dark Range Rover-type vehicle in the direction of Belfast.

C District Inspector John McKenna has appealed for anyone with information to contact police on 101, or if someone would prefer to provide information without leaving their name they can call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
