Riding his D&GW Racing BMW Superstock machine, Pearson finished the shortened five lap Open Senior Race in fifth place behind Michael Dunlop, and was just narrowly beaten by John Burrows in the seven lap Grand Final for fifth place, with Pearson having to settle for 6th as he crossed the finish line. "][/caption] Michael Pearson said, “I am happy enough with how the weekend went, but I needed to get a better qualifying time in to get away with the rest at the front in the two Superbike races.  There is little chance of making any real ground around the Skerries circuit as it is difficult to get passed riders in front of you, with the run up through Sams Tunnel the best chance that you will have. “The BMW is running well, but I am missing not getting out in the 600 class, as it keeps you in sharpe and in focus through out the day.  I was out in the first race and then again in the last race, so to have nothing in-between makes it a long day. “I am still unsure as to what meeting I will take in next, but the trip over to the Southern 100 this year will not take place, as I don’t see the point going there with just the one bike. We will just have to take each race now on its merits I suppose”.]]>
