25 Anniversary night of winning the Senior Championship in the club on Saturday 27 Sept at 8.00pm. Refreshments at half time. Admission Free. Come along and enjoy the football craic. A light buffet will be available at half time. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy reliving old memories
Strictly Come Dancing is being held again in the club. In a change of format we are now looking for couples to come forward and dance in the event. Also a Junior Strictly will be held at beginning of March so we are looking for 10 to 16 year olds who want to take part. Names for both to any committee member. Following on from the success of last year’s drama production of “Don’t Tell The Wife” we now hope to put on another production by end of November. For anyone who may be interested in taking part in this production, be it in a front or back stage role, please go to the club’s facebook page for further information.
The club has received a letter from Habitat for Humanity thanking the local community for supporting Ann McKee (nee Madden), her husband Stephen and daughter Joanne, in their fundraising event, held in the club on 30th June, which raised the sum of £1,325.30. Stephen and Joanne were part of a team of 16 volunteers from Northern Ireland, who took part in the Nelson Mandela Build Week, which brought together a total of 750 volunteers from across the world to build 67 homes in Cape Town for impoverised families.
