Ballynahinch RFC U11;s on Scotland Tour 2015.
On Friday 10 April, 4 Coaches and 29 Minis from Hinch U11’s will fly to Edinburgh for an end of season Mini Rugby Tour to Edinburgh and Kirkaldy.
The tour not only marks the end of the rugby season for these 29 mini rugby friends, but also the culmination of 7 years playing together as part of the burgeoning Hinch Mini section as next year sees this group head off to different schools and new rugby playing opportunities at both school and in the Hinch Youth setup.
A busy schedule lies ahead for the tourist as they get a tour of Murrayfield on arrival in Scotland, before receiving a training session from the Edinburgh Rugby development coaches. They then return to Murrayfield once settled in their accommodation to play Murrayfield Wanderers U12s on Friday evening on the back pitch.
Saturday morning sees the short trip to Kirkcaldy were the tourists will take on a series of U11/U12 teams from Kirkcaldy RFC and some nearby clubs, before staying on to watch the Kirkcaldy 7’s Tournament and dining at the Buffalo Burger BBQ. They will then head off to enjoy the Stock Cars at Cowdenbeath before coming back to take part in some dancing at the Kirkaldy RFC disco!!
The following morning sees the Tourists take on the dizzy heights of Edinburgh Indoor Climbing Arena before flying home and back to school for their final term as P7’s.
The Tourists are looking forward to taking on their Scottish opponents and enjoying some Lowland hospitality and hope to represent Ballynahinch RFC to the very best of their ability.
