The Éire Og minors got their league campaign of on Tuesday night at home to longstone. This was a thoroughly enjoyable game but unfortunately it was the visiting side who took the spoils.
A depleted U-16 side travelled to Glenn on Thursday night. Despite Darragh Rooney having to be taken off immediately with a back injury The Éire Og side took the lead early on but suffered a further set back when Cormac Greene had to come off after suffering an injury. This left the Éire ogs playing 11 v 13 and when Curtis McAteer suffered a head injury the game had to be abandoned giving the home side the points.
The mentors and players wish these players a full and speedy recovery.
