Friday night’s youth group session was as exciting as it promised to be when the kids enjoyed our “Great Glasdrumman Bake Off”.
Boys took on Girls to see who would be crowned champions. After the baking was all done and the traybakes were setting, the kids then began to clean up, leaving the place spotless!
When it was time for the all important results 1 judge chose the boys Malteser Cake while another judge thought the girls Rocky Roads was the winner. As it was a tiebreak a third judge had to make the ultimate decision and it was the boys with their Malteser Cake that was the winner.
This was by no means an easy competition to judge as each of the kids gave their all and every dish was absolutely delicious but there has to be a winner and the boys with their Malteser Cake were worthy of the title.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable youth club session made even more so by the lovely attitude of the kids even when it came to cleaning up. Well done everyone!
This Friday we have Donna doing a “Relax Kids” session once again. This is for the kids from P1 – P6, remember to bring a blanket and a pillow. See on you Friday from 6.30pm until 8pm.
