The Eire Og U-14’s had their first league game of the season on Monday 4th April writes Tony Bannon.
The Eire Ogs started brightly and went into the break with a good lead. However, football is a game of 2 halves and Atticall came out for the second half with a renewed energy and ended up winning the game. The next game is Monday 18th April away to Tir Na Og details for travel arrangements will be given at training. Training continues tonight (Wednesday) at Pats Road Pitch, a text with times will be sent out.
The Eire Og U-12’s had no game this week their next game is an away fixture against Shamrocks on Sunday morning. The bus will leave from the Halfway at 9.50am and Pats Road at 10am.
We are once again doing LAST MAN STANDING based on Division 1 & 2 matches in the Down League. The first round of fixtures we will be picking from are those taking place on Friday 15th April.
The deadline for your selection will be Wednesday 13th April. If you haven’t already indicated your wish to participate this season please contact any committee member or senior player. Fixtures will be on the clubs website and facebook page.
Remember folks, this is a good way of supporting the club in our current fundraising drive for the development and refurbishment of the youth club and gym facilities.
