Dromara and District Community Arts Club (DDCAC) have joined BT and the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland (CFNI) in celebrating a £1 million grant-making partnership spanning 25 years at an event at the BT Tower Riverside in Belfast, which included the announcement of five special Telecommunity grants worth £5,000 each.
Establishedxa0in 1989 with joint funding from BT Northern Ireland, BT Union Committee (CWU) and CFNI, the Telecommunity Fund provides financial supportxa0for small, locally-based projectsxa0for teenagers, older people and people with a disability from all sections of the community.
