Club Notes – Week Beginning 10th September 2018
The ladies take pride of place this week again, they have a promotion playoff against the Division 1 North league winners Crewe United on Wednesday night. This match will be played the Bangor Fuels Arena 3G in Bangor and kicks off at 7.45pm. The ladies also recently played a visit to the local primary school St Colmcille’s to show their double winning trophies and provide some words of advice on how to keeping fit and playing in a team.
The under 19’s begin their campaign this Friday night when they play Lisburn Distillery at Hanwood 3G Pitch. This match kicks off at 8.10pm.
The under 17’s began their league campaign last Saturday morning in convincing style when they played Sulfolk Swifts in the Supplementary Cup, running out 9 nil winners. The goalscorers were, Ethan Artt, Liam Toner and Odhran Murray doubles, Matthew Murray, Conor Dornan and Brian Kennedy scoring 1 each. This Saturday they welcome Apex Sky Blues to Dunleath, this match kicks off at 11.00am.
The under 13’s play Banbridge Town on Saturday morning in Dromore in the league. Kick off is at 9.30am
The 2008 age group have a free week this Saturday, and training continues on Monday night at 6.30pm.
The 2007 age group also have a free week on Saturday morning, training is on Thursday night in St Dillon’s from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.
Our 2004’s & 2005’s age group kick off in the Downpatrick Youth League on Saturday morning, they play Coney Island in Kilmore. This match kicks off at 9.30am
The Mini Soccer training continues on Monday night 17th September from 6.30pm – 7.30pm at St Dillon’s Avenue pitch. This training is for children born in the following years 2009, 2010 & 2011.
