Down Business Centre in Downpatrick is planning a number of exciting and useful events for local businesses and this provides opportunities to learn and develop new skills and network with other businesses.
The first new initiative is a series of Digital Marketing workshops which kick off in September.

Emma Gribben who lives and breathes ‘digital’, studied BSc Hons in Communications, Advertising and Marketing and upon graduation completed the PgCert Digital Media Communications receiving a Pass with Distinction.
Emma’s passion for digital was ignited when she took up a role at Armagh-based Linwoods Healthfoods. Here Emma set up the digital marketing activities for the brand, including a new website which picked up the ‘Best Retail Website in Ireland 2013‘ at the prestigious Eircom Spiders Awards. As a result of the wonderful exposure of working on global digital campaigns, Emma sought out a new adventure in Dubai where she worked as a Digital Marketing Manager for the world’s largest free zone DMCC.
During her time in Dubai Emma realised her passion to start her own business and said: “In April 2015 I started Digital By Emma. With a personal approach to every project, I worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant, Trainer and Mentor with brands, agencies, start-ups and SME’s to boost their digital activities.
“I am a trainer with Google across three of their programmes; Google Digital Garage, Google Digital Academy and Squared Online. I often delivers digital marketing workshops throughout Europe and I’m passionate about educating businesses about the many ways digital marketing can help them reach new customers and generate sales.”
