Congratulations to the St Joseph’s P.S, Killough, GAA team who were unbeaten and joint winners of the St Patrick’s Cup at Saul last week. The team defeated Ballycruttle, Kilclief, Strangford and Saul on their way to the final against Saul.
Captain Jamie O’Neill was presented with the trophy by Saul GAC chairman Columban Fitzsimons. Abi Murphy and Cliodhna Ranaghan were jointly awarded the Most Valuable Player awards for their sterling contribution to the team throughout the tournament. Thanks go to Mr Mark McGrath from St Patrick’s P.S, Saul, for organising the event.
Appreciation is also conveyed to Theresa Ranaghan and Laura Murphy for assisting with lifts to and from the venue.
