Training for the underage teams are as follows ;
U12’s (from P6 upwards) – Thursday 13 February 6 – 7.15 pm in the Fin Hall.
U16’s & U14’s (from Year 8 upwards) – Sunday 16th February 12 – 1 pm in Annsborough.
Please note all players must bring their own water bottle to training and remember to wear gum shields.
The club recently held its first Youth Committee meeting of the new year and the setting up of a Club Coaching Committee was outlined which will effectively double up as the Youth Committee. The underage coaching structure has been agreed and appointments confirmed as follows :

The Club’s Coaching Plan for the year will be prepared in the coming weeks which will be updated as information on fixtures, tournaments, Go Games and Cul Camps becomes available. The plan will be circulated to the committee for action and review at regular meetings every four weeks over the course of the season.
The next meeting of the executive committee will be held Wednesday 19 February.
There will be a charity football match in Annsborough on Sunday 23rd February between the U30’s and the O30’s with proceeds going to Donard Fundraising Group for Marie Curie & MYMY. We extend an invite to all former and current players to come along to take part. The match will be played under the banner of Recreational Football and so mouthguards will not be compulsory. All participants will need to sign the standard disclaimer form on the day of the match.
Well done to Eoin Lundy, Oran Flanagan, Jack Matthews and their St Malachys High School team mates on making it through to the semi final of the McDevitt Cup, the u14 Ulster Vocational Schools competition, after a big 11-9 to 4-5 win against Dean Maguirc of Carrickmore. Oran lined out at corner back while Eoin played at centre half back. St Malachy’s will now meet Breifne College of Cavan for a place in the final and we wish them the very best of luck in their endeavours.
Commiserations to Aughlisnafin Ladies footballer, Sileen McDonald and her Liatroim Camogs teammates who missed out on a place in the All Ireland final.
Martin Burns (4) was the 49 Club winner.
