The U10’s travelled to Bryansford on Saturday and enjoyed three competitive games against Carryduff,Dromara and Bryansford, throughout the three games all the players showed great levels of skill, Eoin McMullan mase several fine saves when in goals, while up front Flinn Morgan and Gavin O’Sheadefinitely brought their shooting boots to Newcastle, Dara O’Shea, James Crangle and James McConkey all performed well in the midfield sector.
The U8’s travelled to Kilclief for their second blitz of the season, they all three fixtures against Kilclief,Aughlisnafin and Dundrum, with Cousins Caolain and Ronan Deegan performing well throughout and they were well supported by Pabhraig O’Shea, Keegan Walsh, Fintan Rocks and William Taggart.
The U12’s played Bright on Sunday at Ardtole, and this game had everything that you would expect from a local derby with some fine attacking play mixed with robust defending, Ardglass took an early lead and held it throughout to finish 1-8 to 1-6. Shea Dorrian performed suberbly in goals and was aided in defence by Jack O’Shea, Dylan Addis and JamieMcDarby, in midfield Ruari Deegan was constant threat from play and dead ball situations
