Ardglass GAC seniors enjoyed a sound home win against East Belfast last Friday evening writes Kathy Curran.
Ardglass 2-14 East Belfast 2-03.
The warm and foggy conditions proved their own challenges for all players on both teams and there is no doubt that the strength and stamina of East Belfast was on display at Ardtole!
However, it was not enough to hold off the Green and Gold! Super point scoring sealed the fate for Ardglass. Ardglass had excellent showings from Anton O’Shea, Michael Magee and Shane Taggart, as well as showing great promise from new players and substitutions during the game.
Ardglass GAC would like to take this time to congratulate East Belfast and wish them the best of luck on their journey as a new club. There is little doubt that they will be a formidable side in years to come.
We now turn our attention to The Championship.
