MANAGERS: We are at present looking for new managers and back-room team for our reserve, minor and youth teams. If you are interested or indeed are keen to play football in the new season, please contact a member of the committee.
COACHES: We need coaches for all teams next season, playing or coaching experience not essential. The last of the Coach Education Programme sessions takes place this Thursday, 4th February in Saul – thank you to all our club members who took time out to attend each week!
COURSES AVAILABLE: This Saturday we have our Foundation Award Coaching course in Ardtole, starting @ then next Wednesday, 10th February we have our Child Protection course also happening in Ardtole and starts @ 7pm. The cost of training for anyone wishing to attend will be £20. All new coaches coming on board must have their Foundation AND Child Protection courses completed so it is important that you attend both training sessions on 6th & 10th February at the club – for further details contact our club secretary, Mickey Curran.
MEMBERSHIP: Can all players wanting to play this year contact Danny Kearney, Club Registrar, on our before this Thursday 4th February @ 7pm to arrange payment of this years membership fees.
FUNDRAISING: A huge thank you to all those who attended our Darts competition in Finbar’s, Coney Island on Saturday! Runner-up in our ladies competition was Michelle Magee and our ladies winner was Susie Kearney. For the men we had John Kearney, runner-up with Geordie Taylor winning the men’s category overall! Well done to everyone for taking part and making the day such a success. As always a special word of thanks must go to Emer & Michael of Finbar’s in Coney Island for their continued support to the club and for their hospitality during Saturday’s event!
We will be doing a Car Wash this Saturday, 6th February, out at Ardtole from 10am until 2pm! £5 per vehicle with light refreshments available also! Everyone welcome!
