The SENIORS had a comprehensive victory over Aghaderg at Ardtole last Friday night, with Ardglass dominant throughout the 60mins writes Michelle Teggart. At half-time they had raced into a 2-6 to 0-0 lead and re-established their dominance after the break adding a further 4-5 while conceding 1-1. Tougher tests lie ahead, however, but Ardglass stuck to their game plan and had strong performances throughout the team.
Team:M Cahir, S P Halpin, M Crangle, S Taggart, C O’Shea, E McEvoy, P Curran, S Rooney, C Armstrong, C O’Connor, J Polley, D Smyth, O Curran, N Taggart, C Conlon. Subs: A O’Shea, M Magennis, D Kearney, A Inbinson, N Cahir, T Kearney, C Smyth, R Lundy, P O’Shea,
The RESERVES lost away to Bryansford on Sunday. The final scoreline did not reflect the flow of the game as the home side were clinical in front of the posts while at the other end the Bryansford keeper made numerous fine saves to maintain his clean sheet. The returning Clifford O’Connor and Lee McEvoy made fine contributions throughout and were well assisted by Aaron Inbinson and Niall Cahir.
Both the U-16’s & MINORS lost at home this week to Bright and Drumaness. Both aren’t functioning to their full capacity with many players missing for various reasons, however, there are many fine players in both squads and good performances and results will not be far away.
