Games Update On Friday night 17 enthusiastic Under-8 players travelled to Ballykinlar for their first match of the season, in an enthralling 30 minutes of football both teams displayed great skill and athleticism. There were great scores from Conor Morrison, James Crangle and Ryan Cusack, best in defence were Dylan Addis, Dara O’Shea and Flinn Morgan, and both goal keepers Eoin McMullan and Jack O’Shea did well. The U-14’s lost an epic of a game by a single point, after a slow start in the first half when they were down by 12 points, however they showed true fighting spirit and came back strong in the second period. Over the hour Mark Magennis, Caolan O’Shea and Padraig McGirr all performed to high standards. The Seniors lost in the first outing on Sunday at home to Saul, In a spirited display Ardglass failed to turn the majority share of possession in to scores, while the visitors were more economical with there possession.
