There is an enrolment session for part- time courses starting in September in South Eastern Regional College (SERC) on the Castlewellan Road, Newcastle on Tuesday3 June from 3pm – 7pm.
There is a variety of courses on offer from recreational to courses offering career opportunities. Most courses have reduced rates for people who are aged sixty or over at the time of enrolment and also for those who are in receipt of benefits.
There are also a limited number of FREE places available on Essential Skills literacy, numeracy and computer courses. These accredited courses last for an academic year. They provide an opportunity for parents to keep up with their children’s school work and to gain new skills and qualifications at the same time.
Potential students will have the opportunity to gain advice and enrol on part-time courses starting in September 2014.xa0 Come along and see a variety of work on display. There is something for everyone with the range of courses on offer.
