Ritchie Welcomes Resurfacing On Slievegrane Road In Downpatrick

dn_screenSouth Down MP Margaret Ritchie has welcomed news that sections of the Slievegrane Road, Downpatrick, will be resurfaced before the end of July 2014.

Ms Ritchie said: “I had been in contact with Roads Service to highlight the condition of this rural road, which is well utilised, especially during the school run periods of the day. At this stage, Roads Service has identified some of the overtaking opportunities on the road are in a poor condition and plan to have them resurfaced in July.

“I hope this will improve the condition of the road, and I will seek further improvements for this location with Roads Service.”
