Coogan Commends Downpatrick NIHE

[/caption] Councillor Coogan said,xa0“For some time now I have been working with the local district office to try and get a fence erected to the rear of properties in Windmill Walk/Drive. I’m glad to see the money was found to do this work and it will soon be completed. “The old fencing, which runs alongside a small stream, was damaged and needed to be replaced to stop illegal dumping and to close off access to the stream. “On a separate issue, I had written to the Executive some time ago to request that their remaining properties in Drumaness have open and parkray fires replaced with oil. It is hoped this work will be completed in the next 3-4 weeks and will be a relief for those people who have waited so long for a better heating system.”]]>
