Skittles Competition At Dundrum Inn Raises Funds For Cancer Focus

The skittles tournament was held at the Dundrum Inn in Dundrum in support of Cancer Focus.

And well done to Neil Boyle and all the organisers of the Oliver Boyle Memorial Tournament that was held on Saturday 1 August.

The well-supported event attracted over 50 pairs drawn at random to compete in the annual skittles tournament to raise money for Cancer Focus NI and remember the late Oliver Boyle who sadly passed away in 2014. A total of £1,055 was raised during the tournament and post-tournament BBQ for the work of Cancer Focus NI. I would like to personally thank everyone who has donated to the Oliver Boyle Memorial Tournament so far, and a special word of thanks to Gérard and Mandy Trainor from The Dundrum Inn who hosted the tournament and donated all the proceeds from the delicious BBQ that was provided by Roisin Murray.

“I’d like too to thank team captain Kieran O’Neill for making the draw and helping to organise the teams and competition.”

Thank you to everyone who entered, prize sponsors and everyone who assisted during the event especially two top fundraisers on the day Lee McNerlin and 10 year old Eimear Murray who collected almost £200.” Neil said.
