Police Still Trying To Identify Ardglass Body

THE PSNI in Down are trying to identify a man whose body was discovered in the sea close to Ardglass harbour on Saturday 18August.

The Post-Mortem examination continues into the cause of his death, however, officers have not established this man’s identity.

He is described as 30-40 years old, medium build, 5 feet 8 inches tall with light facial stubble and a round face. Dark or black receding hair that was combed back.

He wore navy blue woollen jumper, over a horizontal light and dark blue striped long leeved top, blue denim jeans and brown casual trainers.

Police are also investigating a line of enquiry that the man may have recently been in the Irish republic as he was carrying Republic of Ireland issue Euros.
