Forthcoming Events in November for The Lakeside Inn and details released for New Years Eve Eve
Margaret Ferguson at The lakeside Inn, Ballydugan, is gearing up for lots of festive events taking place over the next two months.
She said: “The clock is changing this weekend, Halloween is here, and the nights are getting darker earlier.
“We ran very successful events in October with a very happy occasion and a first for The Lakeside Inn, a wedding reception.
“I now look forward to the coming of the Christmas season.
“This year in December we have many exciting plans to finish off 2023 with our Party Night on New Year’s Eve Eve, Saturday 30th December.
“This is a very popular night and we have already taken reservations for it.
“The theme this year is a Western party so please dress in appropriate costume.
“It is essential that you book as space is limited.
“Due to popular demand we have our fish and chip van serving sausages, fish or chicken burger and chips. I promise a fun night with further details to follow.
“I have still availability for functions for table quizzes, and private parties such as Christmas parties, birthday or anniversary, reunions, or charity nights, etc. in the bar during the winter and spring months with catering options.

Table Quiz in aid of Bailiesmills Band organised by Arthur Gibson. (Please note this table quiz starts at 7.30pm.)
Saturday 11th November
Table quiz in aid of East Down Fox Hounds organised by the members of East Down Fox Hounds.
Saturday 18th November
Table quiz in aid of NI Air Ambulance organised by Slieve Croob Community Area Association.
Saturday 25th November
Table Quiz organised by Downpatrick Non Subscribing Presbyterian Church in aid of their local Lions charities.
Friday 1st December
Table Quiz organised by UFU Donard Group for Group funds.
Each quiz starts at 8pm unless specified. Tables of maximum of six persons, however, single bookings welcome.
A £5 donation per person includes light supper.
