On a recent visit to meet constituents in Killough, Chris Hazzard MLA visited the Castlecourt area and was “disappointed” at what he saw.

He said: “Good work carried out by the Housing Executive some time back is being undone by a failure to maintain the area.

“There was a missing manhole cover which represents a health and safety hazard. Also there was debris and growth on paved areas, shrubs were uprooted and a tree appears to have been vandalised in the green area. “

“I have made contact with the NI Housing Executive to make them aware of the unkempt state of Castlecourt, while asking them to ensure that the necessary maintenance is carried out,” said Mr Hazzard.
