Sharon and Barry Quayle recently held a barbeque and raffle at their home in aid of Marie Curie in memory of Sharon’s late father John Fitzsimons.

The total amount raised was a magnificent £3750 for this vital charity.

Sharon and Barry wish to thank the many people who supported this
fundraiser.

Clare Magilton from Marie Curie, centre, is pictured receiving the cheque for £3750 from
Sharon and Barry Quayle following a fundraising barbecue.

They thank Clare Magilton from Marie Curie, Deborah and Jerome Fitzsimons for the
entertainment, Duffy’s Killough for the barbeque, Marty Lennon and Frank
Holland who were the chefs for the night.

And thanks too to Sue Gray who sold the tickets for the raffle.

They also thanked the many sponsors including Haldane Fisher/ Frank
Holland, Eamon Hamill, Spar Shop Saul Rd, McGreevy’s Butchers, Greenan’s
Bar restaurant (Damian Quayle), Michael Vint at the Barn Saul and to
everyone who either sponsored or donated prizes for the raffle and to
all those who very kindly made donations.

Finally a special word of thanks to their family, friends and all their very good neighbours who supported this fundraiser in aid of Marie Curie.
