CELEBRATE DUNDRUM THIS WEEKEND!
Down Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) in conjunction with County Down Rural Community Network (CDRCN) are becoming increasingly excited about their upcoming FREE family event this Sunday 28 September 2014 to celebrate the village of Dundrum and enhance community cohesion.
The event will take place from 1pm – 4pm at Dundrum Castle kindly donated by NIEA with a shuttle bus service available from the Council Car Park, Dundrum Road to the venue. Attractions on the day will include fairground ride, bouncy castle, face painting, live music provide by the ‘Just Adam Band’, free refreshments for first 100 attendees, information and advice stands, and a reminiscence corner displaying historical artefacts provided by Down County Museum.
Speaking about the event Councillor William Dick, PCSP Chairman, said: “The event is shaping up to be a really enjoyable family afternoon and is truly intergenerational. I would encourage everyone whether you are 9 or 90 to come along to what promises to be a fun filled afternoon and best of all its completely free to attend.”
