Noleen said, “We decided to run this show for the second year because we all had family members affected by cancer. We felt his would be a great way of helping to fundraise for this excellent charity. After expenses, we have raised £3270. “The preparation took a good couple of weeks to get it all organized. We’d like to thank Posh Nails and T-Zone for helping out with the make-up, and Libby Marner with the hair. Petals and Pots did a great job with the flowers. We also had the Avon reps there too in the foyer. Everything just seemed to click together.” During the interval, there was a draw and an auction with almost 40 prizes donated by local people and businesses. “The generosity of everyone has been tremendous and we are very thankful to all who donated. Thisxa0helped to make the event such a success. People have made a fantastic effort, even in these difficult times,” said Noleen. Although the audience was predominantly female, a couple of men were also in the audience soaking up the atmosphere. Nostlagia can be reached on 028 44839092 for further details or if you want to make a donation.
