Witness Appeal By Police Following Attepted Break-in At Darragh Cross

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an incident at a shop in Darragh Cross last night, Monday 3 August.

dn_screenShortly before 9.45pm it was reported that an unknown man with a scarf covering his face attempted to gain entry to a shop in the Miskelly Court area. He was prevented from entering by customers and made off on foot.

Detective Constable Paul Downie is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to contact Detectives at Downpatrick Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
