Lunchtime Mystery Solved in Castlewellan! On Tuesday 22nd March at 12.30pm, Maginn’s Bar in Castlewellan will host Wireless Mystery Theatre’s unique performance of Old Time Radio Mystery Plays, the third in this season’s Liquid Lunch series, brought to you by Down Arts Centre. Prepare to be AWED! and AMAZED! by the Wireless Mystery Theatre Company as they recreate old time radio plays on stage. In an old time radio studio environment, the company channel the golden age of mystery and suspense plays, complete with period commercial break, antique jingles and all kinds of adventures in sound effects. The performance will include a series of short CBS mystery plays and be followed by a delicious bowl of soup. Liquid Lunch is an exciting new initiative from Down Arts Centre which offers customers the opportunity once a month to enjoy a unique short performance followed by soup and a roll, in some of County Down’s best-loved restaurants.
