Warrenpoint Golf Club raises £3,000 for leading diabetes charity Diabetes UK
Warrenpoint Golf Club recently donated an incredible £3,000 to Diabetes UK Northern Ireland branch with funds raised at their latest Lady Captain’s Day.
The Lady Captain this year was Brenda Hughes who selected Diabetes UK as her chosen charity.
Her daughter Orla lives with Type 1 diabetes.
The team at Diabetes UK Northern Ireland would like to extend their sincere thanks to Brenda, members of the Warrenpoint Golf Club, and the local community who contributed to the grand total.
There are almost 112,00 people in Northern Ireland suffering from diabetes.
And that number is set to rise.
