Warrenpoint FC Disappointed At IFA Ruling

dn_screenA spokesman for the board of Warrenpoint Town FC said: “We are disappointed following the final award by Sports Resolution UK in the arbitration case with the Irish FA.

“Following a partial award on the 10th June when despite protestations by the IFA to prevent the arbitration taking place we were successful in being heard. Unfortunately, the final award is not in our favour.

“Our community club will prepare for Championship One football for the 2016/17 season and the management and players have the full support for the year ahead.

“We will work to ensure a speedy return to the NIFL Premiership with the help and loyal support of our fans to whom we are grateful for during these past few weeks and indeed season.”
