Councillor Billy Walker has paid tribute to the supporters of the 10K sponsored walk in Delamont Country Park
in aid of Cancer Focus.xa0
He had thexa0 assistance of Emma and Evei Telford whose mother passed away with cancer recently. Included is Cancer Focus Community Fundraiser Barbara Long. Cllr Walker thanked everyone who donated and participated including Cllr Terry Andrews and Simon Hamilton MLA.
“He added: “I have seen first hand work the work that Cancer Focus does and they are a great support to young children whose parents are suffering from cancer.
“I would therefore pay tribute to Cancer Focus and Emma and Evei Telford for their great efforts in fundraising for this very worthy cause.”
