Volunteers Wanted for Strangford Lough Maritime Festival

Distance and Location 14 The Square Portaferry Newtownards County Down BT22 1LWxa0xa0xa0 Distance: 8.5 miles About the Opportunity We would like to involve a number of volunteers for the Strangford Lough Maritime Festival to be held in Portaferry and Strangford over the weekend of 1-2 June. Volunteers will be required for marshalling, meeting and greeting, signposting, setting up of the festival venue. Activities can be matched according to a person’s interest, skill and ability. As a volunteer with the Strangford Lough & Lecale Partnership you will be able to take part in this exciting festival which attracts visitors from Peninsula and further afield. Volunteers are offered agreed travel and lunch expenses. This is a one-off opportunity, however, we would be keen to build up a pool of volunteers, it is hoped to provide further opportunities in all areas of our work. As a result training is available which are required for specific roles and particular intersts. Minimum Hours Per day – 6.
