UKIP Down District representative Alan Lewis has welcomed a DRD Roads Service decision to construct a footpath at Seaforde bus shelter.

He said: “Following calls from local residents, I saw merit in the case for a footpath to assist bus passengers using the Seaforde shelter. I xa0therefore contacted Roads Service requesting a footpath be constructed.

“I believe a footpath will provide easier access for elderly and disabled users.
“Therefore I welcome Roads Service decision to provide the path and expect the work to be carried out shortly.”
