Tree Of Hope For Covid-19 Patients Leaving Downe Hospital

Caring staff at the Downe Hospital in Downpatrick have created a ‘Tree of Hope’ to celebrate patients who have recovered from Coronavirus.

The tree is decorated with colourful, hand-crafted butterflies that have been beautifully decorated by the children of South Eastern HSC Trust staff.

Each butterfly is individual in design, marking the discharge of a recovered patient and acknowledging the care each person has received from our dedicated staff, which has helped them to spread their wings again.
