Tourism Businesses Visit Tourism NI Fair In Newcastle

Local Down tourism businesses joined Tourism NI for their annual ‘Great Days Out’ Fair.

The event held in the Slieve Donard Hotel and Spa in Newcastle provided the opportunity to engage with over 500 group trip organisers from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The exhibitors included Downpatrick and County Down Railway, The National Trust – South Down, Down County Museum and Saint Patrick’s County with representatives showcasing a variety of inspirational days out of interest to a mix of groups from church, sports and social clubs to community groups, retirement associations and many more to help encourage fun group outings in Northern Ireland.

The Fair gave the local tourism industry the opportunity to meet a targeted audience which can deliver business growth through their group day trips in 2017 and familiarise themselves with the quality and selection of attractions available on their doorstep.
