On Friday 14 October, Hotbuckle Productions will be bringing their production of ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’ to Downpatrick.
As three very different suitors compete for her heart, spirited and independent Bathsheba Everdene must choose between them. Will she choose to marry for passion, for obligation or for true love? Or will she value her independence and not marry at all?
Perhaps one of the most endearing and English of Hardy’s novels, the romance is brought to life with live music and Hotbuckle’s trademark ensemble style.
