Tidy NI and McDonalds Litter Pick on Tyrella Beach

Tidy NI staff and McDonald’s Downpatrick crew members went to the beach recently, but it was no picnic as they carried out a litter pick in the local area.xa0 Everyone got stuck in and the litter pick teams collected nine bags of rubbish from Tyrella beach, significantly improving the aesthetic of the local area.

Commenting on the clean-up, xa0McDonald’s Downpatrick Restaurant Manager Karl Wilkinson said: “Litter is such a blight on the landscape and can cause significant damage to the environment and local wildlife so we wanted to play our part in restoring the cleanliness of this beautiful area.”

McDonald’x80x99s Downpatrick crew members Nicole Rhodes, Caitlin Hamilton, Kerry Ann Oâx80x99Hare, Nicola Doyle, Paula Wylie, Grace McAndrew join young Tidy NI representatives at the litter pick at Tyrella beach.
