'The Medium' To Be Performed In The Great Hall

The Medium will be showing in The Great Hall in the Downshire on 9th February 2011.

This is a gripping tale of the sinister world of the séance, where Madame Flora’s meddling with the supernatural leads to the evelation of a terrible secret – and a horrifying descent into madness.

With its brilliantly accessible music and powerful story, Menotti’s one-act masterpiece was one of the most successful operas ever staged on Broadway, running for over 200 performances. The Second Movement in association with NI Opera is delighted to be bringing its acclaimed production of The Medium to Northern Ireland.
