The legendary series of Billy plays by Graham Reid comes to the Lyric Theatre with this new premiere. Billy Martin returns to Belfast after 25 years and finds a family and city he barely recognises anymore.dn_screen Cost: £10 – £24.50 Title: Sétanta Date/Time: 1 & 2 May; 8pm & Thurs 2pm Description: Fíbín Theatre company breathes new life into the ancient myth Sétanta about two young warriors who become sworn enemies. Fíbín uses techniques such as multimedia, masks and puppets in this imaginative piece of theatre. Cost: £11/ £7 concession   Title: Theatre tours Date/Time: Fri 3 & Sun 5 May; 11am Description: Find out what goes on behind-the-scenes in a producing theatre, as well as learning more about the construction of this landmark building that has everyone talking. Hour-long tour includes tea or coffee. Cost: £4 includes refreshments   Title: National Theatre Connections Date/Time: Sat 4 – Mon 6 May; various times Description: Seven companies of young actors are being hosted at the Lyric for this exciting weekend celebration of new writing and theatre making through the NT Connections festival. Cost: £5   Title: Lord Carson Signs Off Date/Time: 7 – 11 May; 8pm; Naughton Studio Description: Based on the life and work of Lord Edward Carson, one of Ireland’s most prominent public figures, this one-man play by Paddy Scully focuses on his early days as a student in Dublin. Cost: £10/ £8 concession   Title: City Conversations Date/Time: April – July various times; Naughton Studio Description: As part of the season celebrating Belfast, the Lyric is hosting a series of talks –Contemporary artist Colin Davidson on 12 May 3pm. Cost: £7.50/ £5 concession   Title: The Irish News GAA Talk Night      Date/Time: 20 May; 7.45pm; Danske Bank Stage Description: A lively night of debate where the fortunes of Ulster Football are discussed by a panel of GAA experts. Cost: £10   Title: Can’t Forget About You Date/Time: 19 May – 16 June; Tues to Sat 8pm; Sun 7pm; Sat matinee 3pm; Naughton Studio Description: World premiere of David Ireland’s romantic comedy about a young Belfast man falling in love with a much older woman.
