The FSB Welcomes Potential For Small Business In New Assembly And Executive

fsbFollowing the announcement of the new ministerial positions at Stormont today, the FSB looks forward to getting back to business and recovering the economy through supporting small businesses.

The largest business organisation has outlined in their 2016 manifesto how the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive can take positive steps that will deliver economic growth and employment opportunities.

Wilfred Mitchell OBE, FSB Northern Ireland Policy Chair, commented: “The FSB welcomes the announcement of both a new Executive and an official Opposition, each with a clear mandate to try to improve the economy.

“Top of their agenda must be a commitment to confirm the ‘date and rate’ for corporation tax but also to make sure they consider the potential impact of every decision they take on the small business community – the sector to which every party has said they will look to deliver the jobs and growth on which all their other plans depend.”
