The Clowns are Coming To Downpatrick

Roll up! Roll up! This coming weekend sees the inaugural International Clown Festival in Downpatrick.

The event which runs from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 September will see children and families unleash their imagination and start clowning around with some of the most famous clowns in the world who will be performing in shows, street entertainment, even having a picnic with everyone in St Patrick’s Square in Downpatrick, and having a great clown parade down Market Street.

Children will be ‘in stitches’ laughing and in awe as the clowns perform magic tricks, juggle, balloon model, perform acrobats, stilt walk, face paint and much more over the weekend.
