Local DEAs support teenage disco for Leitrim Festival
Young folks will be able to enjoy a teenage disco at the start of the Leitrim Festival.
The County Down Rural Community Network; Papyrus; the Downpatrick, Mournes, Rowallane and Slieve Croob DEAs (District Electoral Area forums) have joined forces with Leitrim Festival organisers to roll out a teenage disco on Wednesday 2nd August 2023.
Papyrus (Prevention of Young Suicide) is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional well-being in young people.
It will be present at the disco to offer support and advice on mental health services available locally.
