Take Part In National Drawing Day 2016

Libraries NI invites everyone to celebrate National Drawing Day on Saturday 21 May.

dn_screenAll budding artists are invited to call in and try their hand at drawing. This year, Libraries NI is encouraging their customers to “Paws and Draw” their favourite animal in their library. Libraries will also have a selection of books on display to reveal tips and provide inspiration!

This annual event is organised by the National Gallery of Ireland in association with galleries, libraries and cultural institutions around the country.

Jill Malcomson, Learning Officer with Libraries NI, said:xa0“Libraries NI is delighted to support National Drawing Day 2016 and would like to encourage people of all ages and skill to go along to their local library to enjoy the fun of creating their own artwork!”
