Support The Donard Fundraising Group Run For Health Local Charities

The local volunteer Donard Fundraising Group (DFG) are extremely grateful and indebted to the proprietors of Fresh Food Centre (Castlewellan and Warrenpoint) for kindly sponsoring an amazing £300 in cash prizes for the group’s 3rd annual ‘Power Of An Hour’ 10k, 5k or 3k – Run, Walk or Cycle, on:

xa0Sunday 27 September in Castlewellan Forest Park at 1pm.

(On the day registration is from 11.30am – 1pm).

The POAH event is for all ages and capabilities with all proceeds in aid of Marie Curie, PIPS/Mind Your Mate & Yourself, publicly accessible life-saving heart defibrillators/genuine good causes – to help anyone in our local communities at a difficult time when needed the most.

Donard Fundraising Group Secretary Alice Anderson also expressed the group’s sincere appreciation to the management and staff of Halfords (Downpatrick) for so kindly donating a fantastic 18-gear, adult bicycle as a star raffle prize for one lucky winner.
