St Malachy’s High School Year 8 Pupils Visit Refurbished Castlewellan Library

St Malachy’s High School’s new Year 8 students visited Castlewellan library on Tuesday 6th September to learn about the valuable resources and facilities available to them in public libraries.

Librarian Mrs Deirdre Rooney was very generous with her time and gave the students an overview of the library and all that it has to offer as they enter a new phase of their education.

Mrs Ann-Marie Moran, school librarian, who organised the visits would like to thank the library staff for the warm welcome.

Pictured with the St Malachy's High School Year 8 students are teachers Teresa McAteer and Louise Cassidy (Year Head) and classroom assistants Lucia Rooney, Kate McEvoy and Carol O’Rourke.
